Heavy rainfall in England denied players of the Super Eagles of Nigeria the chance to have a full session at the Wembley stadium in their final training session ahead of their friendly game against England tomorrow.
The heavy downpour made the stadium authorities to first of all deny the Nigerians access before finally allowing them to jog and later observed a shooting drill with the outfield players going up against the goalkeepers.
During the shooting exercise Hapoel Be’er Sheva midfielder John Ogu impressed with his shooting abilities with four of his efforts beating the goalkeepers who were up against him. A sign of the power behind his shots which were also accurate.
The duo of Leon Balogun and William Troost-Ekong also performed well during the exercise particularly Ekong who displayed his abilities to shoot with venom, which could potentially make him an option in set piece situation during games.
Oghenekaro Etebo, Chidozie Awaziem and Kenneth Omeruo also impressed with their shooting abilities with Ogenyi Onazi also hitting four efforts which troubled the goalkeepers he was up against during the session.
