Russia 2018 World Cup – Ex FIFA President Sepp Blatter Tags Super Eagles As ‘Troublemakers’

Former president of world governing body FIFA Sepp Blatter has given his opinion on teams that will be participating at the upcoming Russia 2018 World Cup which is just 8 days away .

Blatter who left FIFA in controversial circumstances took to his verified twitter handle to list out the teams he considers as favourite to lift the tournament in alphabetical order.

While listing the teams Blatter suggested that he is tipping them to lift the tournament due to his beliefs in attacking football, which the teams currently boast off ahead of the start of the World Cup.

Brazil, France, Germany and Spain were listed by the ex FIFA President as favourite and a rather shocking follow up statement he referred to Nigeria and Uruguay as trouble makers.

Nigerians responded to his post by attacking his usage of words but many suggest that he was probably referring to Nigeria as underdogs who can spring surprise at the World Cup, where they are grouped alongside Argentina, Croatia and Iceland.
