Former Nigeria U17 midfielder Jack Ipalibo has extended his contract at Spanish LaLiga side Villarreal till the summer of 2021, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
The 20 year old was supposed to be out of contract this summer as his one year deal was suppose to terminate on the 30th of July but he yesterday extended his deal.
A provision for his deal to be extended by three years was yesterday taken up by the club after his dazzling display which has earned him praises from the handlers of the youth sides of Villarreal.
A member of the Nigeria U17 team that conquer the world in 2015, Ipalibo fondly called Yaya Toure has made his mark for the B team of the LaLiga outfit which has led to his new contract at the team which also has his ex Nigeria U17 teammate Samuel Chukwueze on their payroll.
Already he has trained with the first team of the team severally and he will be eyeing a step up to the main team starting from when they resume for pre season training later in the year.
