Croatia Coach Dismisses Ahmed Musa – He Is Quick But He Doesn’t Play For His Club

Zlatko Dalic has aimed a shot at Super Eagles of Nigeria wing forward Ahmed Musa who is expected to play some role for Nigeria when they clash with Croatia today in a group D clash of the Russia 2018 World Cup.

The coach of the Croatian team was asked during the pre match conference if he is wary of the fact that Ahmed Musa’s presence in the Nigerian team could swing support towards the Nigerians later today.

Musa spent the second half of last season on loan to CSKA Moscow, the team he left to join English Premier League side Leicester City 18 months ago, and coach of the Nigerian team Gernot Rohr said his presence should sway Russians to support Nigeria.

Asked about the statement by Rohr, Dalic dismissed it before aiming a shot at the pacy winger by saying he is quick but doesn’t get to play much for his team, “‎ Musa doesn’t play that much for his team. He is quick and we aware of it. I don’t know what Rohr was trying to say about support going the way of Nigeria in the game. We’ll play our normal game”, Dalic said.
