Coach of the Croatian national team has dropped a big hint on how to intend to defeat the Super Eagles of Nigeria when both teams meet later today in the Russia 2018 World Cup.
Zlatko Dalic was asked during yesterday’s pre match conference about how his team intend to cope against Nigeria and also how he plan to stop Nigeria in today’s encounter at Kaliningrad.
Dalic admitted that Nigeria are known to have a physical approach with pace to play on the encounter but he maintained that their style of play will no doubt put them in good stead to beat Nigeria.
“Croatia has its own style and has to keep it, with a technically perfect possession of the ball. Of course, we will look after the young Nigerian players, but I believe in our creativity and ability to play to instruction,” Dalic stated during his pre-match conference.
“This is the most prized virtue of our team, our strength. Nigeria, we know their quality and how dangerous they are, especially in the attack, but we also have big names.
“It will be a good, quality match, I’m optimistic and we know we can win, taking care of Nigerian counterattacks and quick openings. we are ready for the match.”
