The freshly assembled Nigeria U17 team were once again too much for their opponent in another friendly game as they thrash Jos based Academy Gee-Lec Football Club 8-0 at their training ground at the FIFA Goal Project training pitch.
The boys of coach Manu Garba were simply too much for their guest as they were 5-0 up inside the first 45 minutes, thanks to their enterprising brand of football which got the spectators cheering.
On Wednesday they also picked up another win by thrashing Diamond Academy of Umuahia 3-0 to further increase their goal counts in friendly game to 17 in their last four test games.
Highlight of their win has to be the 5-1 win over Academy For Stars Football Club of Warri 5-1, a day after same academy held the Nigerian U20 team to a 2-2 in a friendly game ahead of their weekend game against Mauritania in the U20 Africa Youth Championship Qualifiers.
They are in camp preparing for the U17 Africa Youth Championship Qualifiers which will be played in a tournament format for the first time with Nigeria set to play in the WAFU B region.
