16 year old Nigerian midfielder Abdularazak Ishaq has teamed up with the Nigeria U20 team who are in the final hurdle in their quest to qualify for the African Youth Championship.
Nigeria will take on Mauritania tomorrow in the first leg of their final round of qualifiers tie and Ishaq was in the camp of the team prior to their departure for Mauritania yesterday.
However, the soon to be Noorkoping midfield maestro who was a part of the last U17 team of Nigeria failed to make the squad for the trip, but he did enough to convince the handlers of the team.
” Razak will be in the squad for the second game. He didn’t make the team for the trip because we decided to stick with players who have been with us due to the tricky nature of playing away from home in African games”, a member of the technical crew told Owngoalnigeria.com.
Nicknamed ‘Golden Boy’ he is due back in Sweden for training with Noorkoping after the Swedish team struck an agreement to sign him from his nursery team Unity Academy once he turns 18 in few years time.
