Soon to be Brondby of Denmark striker Nazifi Yahaya post a man of the match performance for the Nigeria U20 team as they ran out 5-0 winners over Mauritania to seal their spot in next year African Youth Championship.
Kano Pillars Yahaya will in the coming days return to Denmark for training with Brondby in view of sealing a deal with the club once he turns 18 next year, and he signed off in style.
Enyimba of Aba forward Wasiu Alalade opened scoring for the Nigerians before the 20th minute mark with Yahaya claiming the assist for his low finish in the box.
Yahaya got a goal of his own either side of the half before further goals from Aniekeme Asuquo and a well taken penalty from Afeez Aremu put the game beyond the reach of the visitors.
The win secures qualification for the Nigeria U20 team for the next year event which will take place in Niger Republic on a 6-1 aggregate score after drawing 1-1 in the first leg of the tie played a week ago.
