Team 360 Fall To Defeat Against Golden Eaglet (Nigeria U17) In Friendly Game

The U17 team of Nigeria who are presently in camp gearing up for their campaign in the WAFU B zone of the African Youth Championship Qualifiers were too much to handle for Nigerian Academy Team 360 FC.

Grouped alongside Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast and Benin Republic in Pool 2 of the qualifiers tournament which will be held in Ghana, the game was part of their preparations for the championship.

They went into the half time break leading by a lone goal before scoring two more in the second half to claim a 3-0 win despite the decision of coach Manu Garba ‎to rest his regulars for the game which was decided at the FIFA Goal Project training pitch.

So far they have maintained an unbeaten run in all of their qualifiers but coach of the team is still insisting that there are areas he is still not satisfied with despite the way they have been blowing teams away.

” It’s good to win in convincing fashion but there are some areas we need to work on and that we are seriously doing. The results are good, perfect for team confidence but we won’t be carried away because it’s a tournament not the normal qualifiers we are used to”, he concluded.
