Promising Nigerian striker Igwe Uzo has formally completed his move to Israeli top division side Hapoel Ranana from respected Nigerian football academy Gee-Lec Football Club of Jos.
Igwe joined the Israeli side after impressing during trials with the youth team of the club, where he will start his career at the club before his potential elevation to the first team.
He will spend the entire season on loan but the Israeli side agreed on a clause which allows them to buy him permanently from Gee-Lec, when his loan spell expires at the end of the season according to the agent who brokered the deal David Ouziel.
” Igwe will spend the season on loan from Gee-Lec. He will represent the youth team in the Youth League and if he impresses, Hapoel Ranana will buy him on a permanent deal from Gee-Lec “, Ouziel told Owngoalnigeria.com in an exclusive chat.
” It’s not a bad start for the young forward and I must say thank you to his Nigerian agent Babawo Mohammed who made it easy for the boy to move to Ranana “, he concluded.
