Italian Serie A side Bologna suffered a 1-2 defeat against English Premier League side Huddersfield Town in a pre season game which took place in Austria, where both teams are currently training ahead of the start of their competitive engagements.
Former Nigeria youth international Kingsley Michael was once again paraded by Bologna in the game which was decided in favour of Huddersfield Town thanks to a late goal by Steve Mounie in time added on.
Michael was introduced in the second half and the midfielder who will turn 19 year old on the 26th of August showed the abilities that has helped him forced his way into the first team plans of the club.
Signed a little over a year ago, the Nigeria U17 World Cup winner who also played for the U20 in their failed attempt to qualify for the African Youth Championship in 2015 has featured in all pre season games for Bologna.
Already he has been handed jersey number 14, a sign of how well he is respected at the club and it also give an indication that he might be a part of the first team all through next season.
