Turkish top division side Goztepe are yet to agree a deal with Chelsea for the services of Nigeria international defender Kenneth Omeruo, Owngoalnigeria.com understands.
Omeruo arrived Turkey yesterday and although Goztepe are the front runners for his signature, they are presently facing competition from fellow Turkish sides Alanyaspor and Kasimpasa.
Last season the Nigerian represented Kasimpasa and his contributions earned him praises while two seasons ago, he was on loan to Alanyaspor and he also made his mark at the club.
Both teams have contacted Chelsea for his services and the 25 year old defender will hold talks with them just as he is also holding talks with Goztepe. All three teams are willing to match Chelsea demands for his services.
Chelsea are open to the idea of an outright sale or a loan deal with the option to buy permanently in the summer as they bid to get Omeruo off their book following his inability to make the step up to the main team since his move to Stamford Bridge in 2013.
