21 year old Plateau United forward Tosin Omoyele has started training with Swedish side IFK Goteborg in view of bagging a deal with the team in the coming days according to a report on the official website of the club.
Already the club are warming to the idea of seeing the exciting forward in training as they view him as the best striker in the NPFL despite Junior Lokosa topping the scorers chart.
Speaking on the forward, the Sporting Director of the club said, the Plateau United forward is the best striker in the Nigeria Professional Football League ( NPFL) base on reports gathered by the team.
” He is considered to be the best striker playing in the Nigeria Professional Football League ( NPFL) for now and we will have the opportunity to see him in training for a week”, he told the club website.
Omoyele joined Plateau United from NNL side Osun United just before the start of this season, thanks to the scouting prowess of the Technical Director of the Jos based side Ahmed Ibrahim popularly called ‘Coach Bros ‘.
The step up to the top division in Nigeria has not stopped him from making his mark as he is presently the top scorer for champions Plateau United, although Lokosa of Plateau United leads the scorer chart in the league.
