Highly rated Plateau United forward Tosin Omoyele who was scheduled to test with Swedish side IFK Goteborg has left the club following interest in his services from Norwegian side Valerenga, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Omoyele left Nigeria for Norwegian side Stabaek but after three days at the club, the recently turned 22 year old left for Swedish side Goteborg, with the club proudly announcing his arrival.
In a statement on their official website, Sporting Director of the club Mats Green said the forward is the best striker in the Nigeria Professional Football League based on reports and expressed the eagerness of the club to run the run on the forward.
The move appears to have hit a brick wall as the forward left Sweden yesterday for Norway, where he is expected to begin training with Valerenga according to reports exclusively gathered by Owngoalnigeria.com editorial team.
Valerenga currently have two Nigerians on their books in Chidera Ejike and Peter Michael with Omoyele primed to be the third if everything goes as expected in the coming weeks.
