Kelechi Iheanacho once again confirmed his rating as Leicester City hottest striker at the moment with a brace in their 2-1 win over French Ligue 1 side Lille in their final pre season game ahead of their opening English Premier League game.

Iheanacho drew Lille level with a well placed header before finishing at the near post to hand Leicester City the winner and increase his goal tally in pre season games to four goals in his last three games.

His form will no doubt ease the worries of coach Claude Puel who is set to be without first choice striker Jamie Vardy as the forward is yet to return to training following his involvement with England at the World Cup.

Leicester City will take on Manchester United in their opening Premier League game on Friday and Iheanacho is surely in the running to start the game judging by his recent goal scoring streak in pre season.
