‘I’m Going To Hamburg’ – Eintracht Braunschweig Nigerian Forward Suleiman Abdullahi Reveals

Former Nigeria youth international Suleiman Abdullahi has dropped a hint on his next career destination following the relegation of Eintracht Braunschweig to the third division in Germany.

Abdullahi is not eligible to play for the German side in the third division as there is a rule which bars non European Union players from playing in the division, the rule means Braunschweig were keen to trade him.

The forward rejected a move to MLS side New York Red Bulls insisting on remaining in Germany where he was rumoured to be on the radar of second division side Nuremburg and St. Pauli.

Hamburg based St. Pauli appears to have won the race for his signing as the 22 year old revealed that his next destination will see him end in the city of Hamburg where St. Pauli are based.

“I’m going to join a team in Hamburg. You’ll know when all involved have agreed but I have made up my mind about my next destination “, Abdullahi revealed.
