Super Eagles of Nigeria midfielder Mikel Agu is keen on a move to the French Ligue 1 ahead of a move to Greece where league giants Olympiakos have tabled a bid for his services, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
Porto according to several reports in Greece tabled an offer for the 25 year old Nigerian, who spent last season on loan to Turkish side Bursaspor but still has no spot in the plans of Porto’s coach Sergio Conceicao.
Agu has made it clear that he won’t be heading out on another loan as he wants a permanent exist from the team and Porto are demanding a transfer fee in the region of £4.5m from interested teams.
So far French Ligue 1 duo Bordeaux and Olympique Marseille have indicated their interest in Agu but want a loan deal with an option to sign him permanently next summer, something Porto and Agu are yet to accept.
Olympiakos are however open to the idea of signing him on a permanent transfer but Agu who also confirmed offers from Spain in his services is pressing on a move to the Ligue 1 ahead of any other league at the moment.
