Former Nigeria U17 and 20 midfielder Kingsley Michael has agreed a season long loan move to Serie B side Perugia from Italian Serie A side Bologna, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
Kingsley has been the revelation so far Bologna in their pre season games but the club has decided that a loan to a team where he is sure to get games will be best for his progress this season.
Perugia won the race to sign the 19 year old after convincing his representatives that he will be given game time to aid his development into a better player ahead of a possible return to Bologna next season.
A star of the Nigeria U17 team that won the 2015 World Youth Championship, Bologna refused to give Perugia the option of signing the midfielder permanently as they believe he still has a future at the club.
Perugia are expected to announce his capture later today and they will be hoping he aid their quest to return back to the Italian Serie A after their failed attempt last season.
