Hot on the hells of the signing of Nigerian midfielder Azubuike Okechukwu, Egyptian side Pyramids FC are eyeing a move for Victor Osimhen, Owngoalnigeria.com reports.
The Egyptian outfit were recently taken over by Saudi Sports Authority led by their chairman Turki al-Sheikh. A move which saw the team change their name from Al Assiouty Sport to Pyramids FC as they aim to spark a revolution in Egyptian football.
Osimhen is one of the names on the list of new Brazilian coach of the team Alberto Valentim , who is keen on bolstering his attack with a move for the 20 year old, who is presently deemed surplus to requirements at Wolfsburg.
He has twice attempted to leave for Belgium on loan but proposed loan deals with Zulte-Waregem and later Club Brugge failed to see the light of the day. A move away is still very much possible before the end of the current transfer window.
Pyramids FC are willing to better his present pay package at Wolfsburg but the former U17 World Youth Championship top scorer is not keen on the move as he still want to prove himself in Europe.
