How Super Eagles Goalkeepers Performed During Shooting Drills – Akpeyi Dwarfs Them All

The Super Eagles of Nigeria had their second training session earlier today ahead of their clash against Seychelles on Saturday in the race to qualify for next year Africa Cup of Nations, reports.

While players of the team were up against themselves in a test game, the goalkeepers were drilled by the coaches in a shooting session which involved the players aiming shots at them.

Goalkeepers Francis Uzoho, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi all faced the outfield players during the drills and correspondent who watched the session picked Akpeyi as the top man during the drill.

He made more saves than the other two goalkeepers with his reflex and fitness level a lot higher probably due to the fact that he has been active since the commencement of the league in South Africa .

Although Uzoho wasn’t far off, he still didn’t make the amount of saves Akpeyi made during the session while Ezenwa was off pace especially when it comes to getting his position back after making a save.
