” Honestly we are yet to speak on his international career but I know he is a player for England at youth level. It will be best for him to represent Nigeria at senior level if he is called up”, Sadiq told Owngoalnigeria.com in an exclusive chat.

” Playing for Nigeria has so many advantages. You have to look at the career of Alex Iwobi, William Troost-Ekong and Leon Balogun if you want a clear picture. The fans are patient and they support the team passionately plus you get a lot of respect from your teammates.

” I don’t think he will enjoy the same height if he plays for England at senior level. The opportunities and chances is there in Nigeria for young players unlike England, where emphasis is more on players playing for the top clubs “, he concluded.
