Less than a month after joining Turkish side Denizlispor on a one year contract, former Super Eagles forward Gbolahan Salami is few details away from joining Tunisian side Club Africain, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.
The 27 year old forward arrived Tunisia yesterday where he will undergo a medical today before penning a deal if all goes according to plan.
Salami had a short stint at Kazakhstan outfit Irtysh Pavlodar scoring four goals in seventeen games before his contract was terminated, which enabled him to join Denizlispor as a free player.
His departure from the Turkish side less than a month into his stint with the club is partly due to salary issues, something that is a norm with most Turkish sides especially second division teams like Denizlispor.
Since taking his trade abroad from the Nigeria Profesional Football League ( NPFL) , Salami has only enjoyed a productive spell in Finland where he represented KuPS for three seasons.
