Nigeria’s sole representative in this year CAF competitions Enyimba FC of Aba qualified for the semi final of the CAF Confederation on a 5-1 goal aggregate win over Rayon FC of Rwanda in the second leg of their quarter final clash.
The first leg ended 0-0 last week away in Rwanda but Enyimba wasted no time in taking the lead courtesy of Stanley Dimgba, they were however pegged behind when Rayon levelled ten minutes later.
Ikouwem Udoh Utin put Enyimba ahead few minutes before the half time break before Sunday Adetunji made it 3-1 to Enyimba immediately after the restart. The game was put beyond the reach of the visitors when Joseph Osadiaye free kick was deflected in for the Enyimba’s fourth of the game.
Central defender Isiaka Oladuntoye wrapped up a convincing win for the Aba outfit with a fifth goal before regulation time as Enyimba set up a possible semi final clash against Raja Casablanca of Morocco who are holding a 2-1 lead over CARA of Congo Brazzaville ahead of today’s return leg game.
