The B team of Celta Vigo appears to have unearthed a gem in their summer signing Emmanuel Apeh who has so far proved himself to be a shrewd bargain following his capture from fellow Spanish side Lorca.
A fee in the region of £360,000 was reportedly paid to Lorca for his services and he has responded with three goals in his first four games for the B team of Celta Vigo who are campaigning in the third division of Spanish football.
Apeh’s progress with the B team have already caught the interest of the handlers of the first team after the Kaduna born forward announced his arrival with a brace in his first game against CD Guijuelo.
His other goal came against Coruxo FC, a game where he played his first ninety minutes for the team but it also came at a cost as he suffered a mild injury which ruled him out of their last league game against Bouzas.
21 year old Apeh trained with the Nigeria U20 team of 2015 but didn’t make the final cut of the team in major tournaments despite impressing in test games and training.
