Super Eagles Hopeful Seyi Ojo Shines For Reims Despite Heavy Loss To PSG

On loan Liverpool forward Seyi Ojo was rated as the best player on the pitch for French Ligue 1 side Reims who were thrashed 1-4 by league leaders and defending champions PSG yesterday.

Playing in his 4th game since his loan move, the 21 year old was handed a second consecutive start but unlike his first start against Dijon, this time around he lasted the entire duration of the game and gave a good account of himself.

Ojo who has voiced out his availability to play for Nigeria despite playing 45 games for England at various youth levels was handed a rating of 5.5, which is the highest among the players of Reims in the game.

He operated from the right side of attack for Reims and the highlight of his performance was when he came close to scoring for his side before initiating the move that led to the only goal scored by his team.

Reims acquired him on a season long loan from Liverpool with the promise of regular firs team football to aid his development following his rapid rise through the various youth ranks of Liverpool to the first team.
