Highly rated Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen was once again inspirational for his loan side Charleroi in their 2-1 win over Lokeren in the Belgium top flight league.
Osimhen was handed another start in the league after scoring twice in his last two games and although he didn’t get on the score sheet this time around, he was lively all through.
He lasted the entire duration of the game with his pace, power and skills proving to be too much for the backline of Lokeren. His high rating after the game showed how well he performed.
On loan from Wolfsburg till the end of the season, the 19 year old is looking like same player who scored ten goals at the 2015 U17 World Youth Championship for the all conquering Nigerian team.
Charleroi will likely take up the option of making his stay permanent as the injury and numerous fitness issues which slowed down his growth at Wolfsburg has finally given way for him to flourish.
