Arsenal made it two wins out of the two in the Europa League with a hard earned 3-0 win over Azerbaijan representative Qarabag courtesy of goals from Sokratis Papastathopoulos, Emile-Smith Rowe and Matteo Guendouzi who were all on the score sheet for the first time in their career with Arsenal.

Iwobi like most of the players on parade for Arsenal in the first half struggled to make an impression but his quick feet and decision making with the ball at his feet made him one of the few positives of a rather dull half for the Gunners.

In the second half he turned on the style by holding off his marker before laying a pass on the plate for Emile Smith-Rowe to score his first senior goal for Arsenal in his first start in the Europa League.

Few minutes after the half hour mark, Iwobi once again showed his ability to wriggle out of tight situation when he somehow skipped his way past four Qarabag defenders who were trying to close him down the left flank.

Matteo Guendouzi put the game beyond the reach of the Azerbaijan outfit with a third goal after Iwobi who now has three assists this season has been taken off for Alexandre Lacazette.

Qualification for the knock out round could be sealed for Arsenal if they pick up a win in their next game against Sporting Lisbon at home and results elsewhere going their way.
