On loan Arsenal midfielder Kelechi Nwakali has not had the best of time since his loan move to Porto B in the summer as he has been in and out of the team for matches.

Rated as one of the top prospects in Nigeria few months ago he has just like it was last season while at VVV Venlo fail to establish himself at the club unlike what he did at MVV Maastricht in his first loan spell and also in the second half of last season.

Former Nigeria youth international Musa Yahaya who is at same club as the 20 year old says it isn’t what many thought as almost every player takes time to settle upon arrival at FC Porto.

” It’s funny how people have reacted to his lack of playing time. It’s maybe due to the fact that many don’t really know how it works here for many players. When I came here newly I wasn’t playing as well for six months “, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” We play a formation similar to that of the first team so it takes time to get use to the tactics and demands. ‎Nwakali is a fantastic talent and he will no doubt play games at Porto. But just like most of us he need time to make his mark and he will get it”, he concluded.
