Super Eagles Training For Uganda- Ezenwa Dazzles As Midfielder, Osimhen, Chukwueze Steal The Show


The Super Eagles of Nigeria were involved in a training session at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba ahead of tomorrow’s friendly game against Uganda.

Loading... was at the training session supervised by coach Gernot Rohr and in the session goalkeeper Ikechukwu Ezenwa was deployed as a midfielder for the team that contains most of the players who might not get to play in tomorrow’s game.

Ezenwa is also rested for the game but the Enyimba forward showed his predatory instinct with a well taken goal from the midfield leaving goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi stunned as the ball nestled into the net.

However as it was in the training session of the team prior to the game against South Africa, the former Nigeria U17 duo of Samuel Chukwueze and Victor Osimhen were simply unplayable with goalkeeper Theophilus Afelokhai at the receiving end of their slick display.

Chukwueze had a well taken effort come off the bar while Osimhen peppered the palms of Afelokhai severally and even the defenders who were up against them struggled to keep up with their movements off the ball and skills on the ball.
