Ahmed Musa On Target For Al-Nassr ; Rated Too Good For Defenders In Saudi Arabia


The vice captain of the senior national team of Nigeria Ahmed Musa scored his 5th league goal for Saudi Arabia side Al Nassr which handed them a 1-0 win over Al Shabab.


Musa scored what ended up as the winner for his team in the 35th minute to increase his goal tally for the season since his £16m move from Leicester City in the summer after his fine showing for Nigeria at the World Cup in Russia.

Already analyst in the Arab nation have already tip him to finish as top scorer in the league as he just two goals behind leading scorer Bafetimbi Gomis of league leaders Al Hilal Riyadh.

Musa’s team are second on the log, two points behind Al Hilal Riyadh who have played a game less but are top of the pile on the strength of a winning run that has seen them pick up five straight wins.

In a poll conducted by top journalist in the country Musa came out top in a list of players who are viewed as too good for the league due to their quality which can earn them a contract with top European teams.
