Relatively unknown Nigerian forward Pascal Onyekachi Durugbor will be the man in the fore for the Nigeria U20 team when they begin their campaign at the WAFU Championship in Benin Republic next month.
18 year old Durugbor has impressed the handlers of the Nigeria U20 team with his knack for scoring goals during their training session in preparation for the tournament.
Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal that he is the only invited foreign base player in the camp of the team in Abuja where they are camped as most invited foreign based players were not released by their teams.
The tall striker plays for Sweden third division side Vaxjo United, a team he joined after impressing at a scouting tournament in Nigeria under the watchful eyes of scouts of the team in January this year.
Vaxjo United are currently in line for promotion to the second division in Spain with the Benin raised forward scoring as many as six goals and four assists to boost their promotion chances.
