The battle for the international future of 17 year old Arsenal teen prospect Bukayo Saka will no doubt intensify in the coming days after his debut for the first team of Arsenal in their 3-0 win away in Ukraine against Vorskla in the Europa League.
Saka has impressed mightily for the U23s of Arsenal after making the step up from the U18s and it earned him a spot in the first team after coach Unai Emery decided to rest his regular players for the clash in Ukraine.
Spotting jersey number 87, the Anglo-Nigerian forward made his entrance in the 69th minute coming on for Aaron Ramsey with Arsenal comfortably leading the home side 3-0.
As expected he immediately showed part of why he is so highly rated with a clever piece of step over before testing the palms of the goalkeeper of Vorskla with a well hit left footed shot.
Although he has represented England at U20 level, coach of the Nigeria U20 team Paul Aigbogun is however keen on having the youngster in his squad for the Africa U20 Cup of Nations next year.
