On loan Wolfsburg of Germany striker Victor Osimhen showed his predatory instinct once again the Belgium league by scoring the second goal for Charleroi in their 3-0 win against Cercle Brugge.
The Nigerian who was turned down by Cercle Brugge in the summer after a brief trial punished them with a well taken strike in the 53rd minute for his seventh league goal of the season.
19 year Osimhen has scored eight goals this season in all competitions with his other goal coming in the Belgium Cup as he continue to prove why he was heavily sought after following his exploits for Nigeria at the 2015 U17 World Youth Championship.
A slow start to his career at Wolfsburg caused by his failure to score a goal in 18 months at the club led to doubts over his abilities but since moving to Belgium, he has proved to be a bargain signing by Charleroi.
Charleroi has the option of signing him permanently in the summer and they could trigger the clause which will see them sign him for a fee in excess of €3m in the summer at the end of his loan spell.
