German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg have tabled an improved offer to on loan striker Victor Osimhen who has taken the league by storm in Belgium where’s he is on loan to Charleroi.
Osimhen has found the back of the net 8 times in 13 games in all competitions this season with one assists to his name. A sign of how well the 19 year old has improved from his nightmarish start to his professional career when he joined Wolfsburg two years ago.
At Wolfsburg he fail to score a goal in 18 months with the first team and with the coming of a new technical crew he was deemed surplus to requirements and loaned out to Charleroi who were also handed the option of signing him permanently for a fee in excess of €3m.
However Wolfsburg have made a u-turn and instead of allowing his loan deal to expire before deciding on their next move they have moved sharply to offer him fresh terms with increased pay as bait to lure him back to Germany.
Although they have the option of extending his current deal which expires in two years time by a year, Wolfsburg want the forward to commit to a long term deal to avoid losing him on a cheap.
