English Premier League legend Alan Shearer has hinted at a gang up against Nigerian striker Isaac Success by his teammates at Watford as most of them will rather shoot than play a pass to send the Nigerian through on goal.

Shearer was working as a television analyst in yesterday’s Premier League clash between Manchester City and Watford which City won 2-1 with Success starting for the losers.

The former England goal king pointed out two different instances where a simple pass to Success would have sent the Nigerian through on goal but this teammates decide to go for glory than pass to their number ten.

Gerrard Deulofeu and Robert Pereyra were the players in question who opt to go for goal rather than play the Nigerian in with a pass much easier to execute than their option of trying to score.

” I think Pereyra should have played Success in, same as Deulofeu. They both have him in their sight and a simple pass would have set him through on goal. Why they decided not to pass to him is strange”, he said during his analysis of the game.
