Failed Lokeren Target Simy Nwankwo Holds Positive Transfer Talks With Anderlecht

Simy Nwankwo could leave Italian Serie B side Crotone before the end of the January transfer window despite a failed move to Belgium side Lokeren few weeks ago.

The Nigerian agreed a deal to join Lokeren but the club were left disappointed when they discovered that they have been speaking with an intermediary who does not control the player despite having a mandate to represent him.

Anderlecht according to reports gathered by editorial team are presently locked in talks with Crotone who are open to the idea of letting the 26 year old leave instead of losing him for free in the summer.

This season Simy has found the back of the net four times in 17 league games, three short of his tally of 7 last season in the Italian Serie A but just like it was last season Crotone could be relegated again as they are currently placed 18th on the 20 team Serie B log.
