Akpom has found his range in Greece with four goals and two assists this season with his brace and assist against OFI Crete the highlight of his performance since moving to Greece in the summer.
23 year old Akpom trained with the Super Eagles in London during a training camp but inactivity at club level cost him the chance to be considered for call up to the team last year.
His move from Arsenal to Greece was the end of his stint at the club he joined at the age of nine around same time with his childhood friend and fully established Arsenal and Nigeria international forward Alex Iwobi.
