Semi Ajayi took his tally in front of goal to three goals in two games with a brace for Rotherham United in their 3-2 win over Blackburn Rovers in the English Championship.
Ajayi followed up his goal followed up his goal against Reading last weekend with a brace in the 2nd and 83rd minute to take his goal tally to four goals in his last seven games in the English Championship.
He was named the Sponsors’ Man of the Match two minutes before the end of the game as his team extend their unbeaten run to six games although the win was there first since New Year Day but it has lifted their spirit ahead of a the final rounds of games in the league.
Nigeria international defender Ajayi has been particularly impressive in a defensive midfield role and his form has led to many citing him as the best midfielder in the English Championship owing to his ball winning rate.
Expected to represent Nigeria at the next Africa Cup of Nations, the 24 year old has grown in leap and bounds this season after struggling to make the grades at Arsenal during his formative years.
