Italian Serie A side Torino could yet miss out on a chance to sign Nigeria international defender Ola Aina who is presently on loan at the club from English Premier League side Chelsea, Owngoalnigeria.com understands.
Aina has emerged as one of the break away defenders in the Italian top flight this season with his consistent performance for his loan side Torino, who could make his loan deal permanent in the summer for a fee in the region of €10m.
It is believed that Torino have established contact with Chelsea over signing the 22 year old permanently in the summer but they are yet to agree personal terms with the defender who can on either flank in defence or as a wing-back.
Serie A giants Juventus have now joined the race for the defender as they aim to freshen up their defence line with the signing of young players as long term plan for their ageing defenders.
It is believed Aina is also keen on a move to Juventus, hence his decision not to commit to a permanent transfer to Torino despite the agreement they have reached with his parent club Chelsea.
