Lille Keen On Flying Eagles Goalkeeper Oremade, Pull Out Of Deal To Sign Ozornwafor Due To Multiple Representatives

‎French Ligue 1 side Lille will after the World Youth Championship step up their interest in Nigeria U20 goalkeeper Olawale Oremade but not central defender Valentine Ozornwafor, can exclusively reveal.

The duo were spotted by scouts of the club during the recently concluded Africa U20 Cup of Nations but a decision on signing them was deferred till after the World Youth Championship in Poland later this year.

While the move for Oremade who recently joined Nigeria Professional Football League side Kwara United is very much alive, same can’t be said about their push to sign Ozornwafor of Enyimba who made the CAF Best XI team of the tournament.

The left footed ace was dumped by the club after as many as six agents showed up with mandate as his representatives following interest from the ligue 1 side, who are even yet to lodge a bid for the defender.

Enyimba insist the player won’t be sold now until after the World Youth Championship but all of that could change if he plays for the Super Eagles of Nigeria against Seychelles following his invitation for the dead rubber AFCON 2019 Qualifiers tie.
