Rising Nigerian Left Back Zaidu Confirms Agreement To Join Portuguese Side Santa Clara

Former Gil Vicente youth team prospect Zaidu Sanusi will join Portuguese top division side Santa Clara in the summer according to the 21 year old in an exclusive chat with Owngoalnigeria.com.

At the end of the current season the SC Mirandela left back who moved to Portugal in 2016 will join Santa Clara if the club maintain their top division status at the end of the season and retain same management.

With a total of two goals in the 18 games he has played this season, Zaidu who originally went to Portugal as a left winger but now plays as a central defender or left full back has established himself as one of the best player in the third tier of Portuguese football league structure.

” I will join Santa Clara next season but that is subject to them staying in the top division which looks very much the case after 25 games. If the technical crew is maintained it will further boost my chances”, Zaidu told Owngoalnigeria.com.
