Montella Hands Oduamadi Lifeline At AC Milan After Productive Loan Spell In Finland

AC Milan coach Vincenzo Montella has handed out of favour Super Eagles forward Nnamdi Oduamadi a lifeline at the club, to relaunch his once upon a time promising career with the Milan giants.

Oduamadi has been on the books of AC Milan since the 2010/2011 season but he has only made one appearance for the team, when he played for five minutes against Catania, way back in 2011.

Since then he has endured six different loan spells with five different Serie B sides, namely Torino, Varese (twice on loan), Brescia, Crotone and Latina, but his latest loan spell has opened the door for me to revive his career with AC Milan.

“Odu” like he is fondly called in Italy, scored 7 goals and made 28 appearances for Finnish side HJK Helsinki, who finished second on the log behind league winners Mariehamn. His performances during the season alerted the upper end at AC Milan.

Coach Vincenzo Montella who has been working on helping the club regained it lost glory has already sounded out the 26 year old Nigerian, about his chances with the team.

If he impresses the coach in training, he could be registered by the team in January, when registration of new players gets underway in the Serie A.
