Former Nigeria international Lukman Haruna was once again on target for his trial side Lens in their 2-1 pre season win over U.S Avranches to hand them their second consecutive pre season victory.

Haruna scored on his first test game, and the former Monaco man showed his sharpness in front of goal once again by netting the winner for his trail team five minutes from full time.

The 25 year old joined the team for trails in a bid to secure a deal following his release by Ukrainian side Dynamo Kiev and so far he has done his chances of bagging a deal a whole lot of good.

Once rated as the golden boy of Nigerian football, he lost his way after three seasons at Monaco where he failed to establish him as a regular, before leaving the team for Dynamo Kiev.

Injuries and fitness issues troubled him during his third season in Ukraine, and his last known club was Astana of Kazakhstan ‎where he played just ten games before termination of his loan deal six months earlier than the original date it was supposed to expire.
