An update on the possible return of former Super Eagles first choice goalkeeper and captain Vincent Enyeama has been provided by coach of the team Gernot Rohr ‎.

Enyeama has been on exile from the team after a row with former coach Sunday Olishe which lead to him losing the captain arm band and also announcing his retirement from the team ‎to focus on his club career with French club Lille.

Rohr all but confirmed the return of the 35 year old goalkeeper who is presently working his way back to full fitness after an injury and also added that the motivation of making history by going to the World Cup for the fourth time should spur Enyeama to pick up the challenge.
