Swedish side FK Norrkoping will in the coming days run the rule on Nigerian duo Amah Chimbundu and Abdularazak Ishaq following the arrival of the duo at the club for training.

As first reported by Owngoalnigeria.com, Norrkoping won the race to the signing of 15 year old Ishaq ahead of a host of Norwegian sides and English Championship outfit QPR, ‎a scout of the club spotted him during a scouting mission to Africa.

Razak was one of the few bright sparks of the 2016 Nigerian U17 team that failed to qualify for the African Youth Championship, but his performance over two legs against Niger Republic during the qualifiers earned him the nickname ‘ Golden Boy ‘.

He is expected to train with the junior side of the Swedish outfit until he reaches the professional age of 18, where he will be eligible to sign a professional contract with the team, unlike 20 year old Amah who could be fast tracked into the main set up of the club.

Speaking on their capture, the club in a message on their official website said they expect the Nigerians to integrate into their team as they fit the project the club have in terms of ‎young African players.

” This is a way for us to familiarise ourselves with two players that we have followed in Nigeria with the help of Stig Torbjornsen ( club scout). It also fits well right now, given the upcoming international break”, manager Jens Gustafsson said in a statement posted by the club on their website.
