The agent of hot in demand AS Trencin high flying Nigerian winger Hillary Gong has played down reports that the 19 year old is close to joining Belgium side Anderlecht.
Tony Harris who manages the affairs of the former GBS super teen told Oluwashina Okeleji of the BBC that although talks are underway both parties are not close to agreeing a fee for his transfer.
In a post made on his twitter handle Okeleji also posted statements credited to Harris fuming over the alleged transfer fee of €10m erroneously quoted by Owngoalnigeria.com instead of a little over €1m as contained in the edited report.
“I’ve spoken directly to Anderlecht & a host of clubs but there’s been nothin agreed whatsoever with Anderlecht nor are we anywhere close to doing anything with Anderchlecht”, Harris reportedly told Okeleji.
“The reported amount is also laughable & makes a complete mockery of the story. Yesterday was an imaginary €20m bid rejected for Kalu, today €10m bid for Hilary from Anderlecht.”
