Former Africa Player of the Year Victor Ikpeba says Villarreal new kid on the block Samuel Chukwueze is an exciting player who can be a future star of the senior national team of Nigeria after his impressive performance in his debut game for the Super Eagles.
Ikpeba worked as a pitch side analyst during the game and he was asked his opinion about the performance of the 19 year old who lasted only 45 minutes in the friendly encounter that ended 0-0.
Chukwueze was substituted for Samuel Kalu but Ikpeba saw enough to give him a positive rating for the period he was on the pitch during the game played at the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba.
” He is very lively and exciting on the ball, I like his style and the way he plays, he is fearless. This is his first game but he is playing like someone who has been around for a while. He has a big future ahead of him”, Ikepba concluded.
