Ola Aina has admitted that Moses Usor solo goal against Madagascar in the AFCON qualifiers which sealed a 2-1 win for the Super Eagles left him stunned, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Usor was introduced in the second half for his international debut for Nigeria, and the LASK winger justified the trust by head coach Eric Chelle in bringing him on for Samuel Chukwueze with scores at 1-1.
He picked the ball from the edge of the box of Nigeria, and went on a solo run to the opponent’s half before burying a low drive to put Nigeria up for the first time in the game.
The goal ended up as the winner to help Nigeria start the campaign on a winning note, and Usor introduced himself to the Nigerian fan base with that strike.
” He kept going and I was wondering where he was going. So when it landed in the net I was left stunned, that his debut man and he did that at home under pressure. That’s some talent there”, he told OwnGoalNigeria.com.
