” Jesus is yet to understand English but Iheanacho was still able to pass his message across to him and they both laughed over it. He has Iheanacho’s backing.

” The team comes first and Jesus is doing just what the team need to maintain their push for a strong finish at the end of the season, why would Iheanacho be envious of him?”.

Former Super Eagles captain and goalkepper Vincent Enyeama was the star of the show despite Lille’s 1-2 loss to PSG in a Ligue 1 tie yesterday.

Enyeama returned back to the line up for Lille after missing their last two games due to injury, and the shot stopper immediately showed the club what they have been missing.

He made save after save in the first half, and probably had more touches than some outfield players of Lille, before he was finally beaten by a flick header from Edinson Cavani.

The peak of his saves was denying Angel Di Maria well hit drive at close range, a save which has been severally reviewed by the French media, with most terming it almost unbelievable.

French Magazine L’equipe wondered if his wrist is made of iron judging by how he flicked the drive at close range to deny the Argentine.

His heroics didn’t earn his side a point as he was beaten by a late goal by Lucas Moura which was scored from an offside position as seen by the television replays.

Players of Lille lead by Enyeama protested the goal but it stood, and Enyeama was even booked by the referee for angrily confronting the assistant referee after the controversial goal.

He may still be seen as a relative newcomer, but Alex Iwobi recently reached a significant career milestone when he made his 50th Arsenal appearance.

The Nigeria international has made huge strides since his first-team breakthrough, and says two particular teammates have aided his development.

“I never thought I would be here at the age of 20, it’s an amazing feeling to have made more than 50 appearances for Arsenal,” Iwobi said. “It is just the start of my career basically, so I just need to get more goals, more assists and make more appearances and d

“The manager, Steve Bould, everyone – even the players – have all given me advice on what to do, helping me on and off the pitch. Everyone has helped get to where I am today.

“[The biggest influence on me] would probably be Jack Wilshere, but he has not been around recently. He talks to me off the pitch because he has been through the same system as me, I just watch what he does – especially as I grew up as a No 10 and he’s a No 10.

“Now I would say it is Francis Coquelin, he is always talking to me. After the Watford game he told me what I did well, and what I need to improve on. He’s definitely one who keeps me in check.”

He’s given him that lift and responsibility, and he’s done extremely well.”

Moses has scored three goals and created 16 chances in 23 Premier League appearances this season, winning 51% of his average duels, as Chelsea sit top on 59 points, nine clear of Tottenham Hotspur in second.

Next up for them is an away clash at Burnley on Sunday, before taking on Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup fifth round at Molineux.
