Willian Reduces Victor Moses Efficiency Unlike Pedro – Ex Chelsea Ace

0

Former Chelsea midfield hard man Emmanuel Petit says Brazilian winger Willian is reducing the efficiency of wing back Victor Moses when it comes to taking up attacking positions.

Petit made the assertions while working as a pundit in Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Crystal Palace where Willian started ahead of Spanish winger Pedro, who according to him gives Moses the chance to take up goal scoring positions in the box of opponents.

” Moses wasn’t so good in the game, and that affected Chelsea going forward, he missed Pedro, his regular mate on the right wing. He is yet to truly understand how to link up with Willian who doesn’t offer much in defending like Pedro”, Petit said.

” Pedro is quick to close down opponents and that leaves Moses with few work to do defensively, so he can bomb forward when in possession but Willian is not that type, which means Moses has to do more defensively with him.

” I won’t mention the name of the coach but back then Efe Ambrose gave me the contact of the coach after telling him of my form, I put a call across to him but he told me to speak with his assistant, who openly asked me for tips.

” A lot of friends asked me to pay the money but the sum they were quoting was way more than what I can afford. I couldn’t and despite my fine form, I wasn’t contacted again. No regret though am cool with Haiti, the land of my grand father”.

Alampasu Loses First Choice Spot At Portuguese Third Division Side As Loan Spell Draws To An End

0

Dele Alampasu is close to ending his three months loan deal with Portuguese third division team Cesarense, the team he joined from top division side CD Feirense.

So far he has made 8 league appearances for the team, but with no clean sheet to his name, the 19 year old was dropped for their last game against Gondomar.

Ironically the man who replaced him Bruno Pinto kept a clean sheet and helped them to their first win in three months, a run that coincided with when Alampasu was first choice.

Although there are reports that Cesarense wants him to extend his loan deal, the bottom placed team are now having doubts about his abilities after their winless run came to an end without him.

A decision on his possible return or extension of loan will be made after their next league game Estarreja on Sunday, a game that will officially bring to an end, the three months loan of the recently invited Super Eagles shot stopper.
